A preview: florals

Last week Anna came over to the studio to work her photography magic and we did a product shoot that was way overdue (can’t wait to share images). I put together a couple of bouquets for the portfolio and here’s a peek at them in Instagrams. If y’all haven’t noticed, I’m obsessed with Instagram. It’s my favorite app right now, hands down. One of my favorite blooms is the parrot tulip (my own bouquet was made up of orange parrot tulips) and I found the most beautiful slightly peach parrot tulips at my local market. Combined with kale,  hydrangea, and various greenery, the colors created the most beautiful, muted color scheme.

I wanted to create a different shape for the second bouquet – one meant to be cradled in the nook of your arm, rather than carried front and center. I incorporated succulents among anemones and other colorful floral to add a punch of color.
